Brock Michael Boeser was born on 25 February 1997 in Burnsville, Minnesota, and starred at Burnsville High School before playing for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League, developing into a highly regarded top prospect for the 2015 NHL Draft. The Vancouver Canucks selected Boeser 23rd overall in 2015, and he spent two seasons at the University of North Dakota before making his NHL debut in 2017, quickly establishing himself as one of the franchise's most reliable and productive goal-scorers.
