She is the greatest female fighter in MMA history — the only fighter, male or female, to hold two UFC title belts simultaneously in different weight classes. She won the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship in 2016 by TKO'ing Miesha Tate and has since defended it multiple times. She won the Featherweight Championship in 2019 by defeating Cris Cyborg. She knocked out Holly Holm, Valentina Shevchenko and Ronda Rousey. Her wins over Rousey (48 seconds) and Cyborg, who were previously considered near-unbeatable, are the most significant knockouts in women's MMA history. She won the Fighter of the Year award from multiple publications. She is the longest-reigning women's champion in UFC history. She retired in 2024 after 16 UFC fights. She fought out of American Top Team in Florida.
