The most decorated figure skater in Olympic history — five medals with Scott Moir.
Tessa Jane Virtue was born in London, Ontario in 1989. She and her skating partner Scott Moir have won five Olympic medals together (three gold, two silver) — the most by any figure skater in history. They won ice dance gold at Vancouver 2010 — the first Canadians to win Olympic ice dance. They retired from competitive skating in 2018 after his Pyeongchang triumph. Their free dance to Moulin Rouge at the 2018 Games is considered the finest ice dance performance in Olympic history by most analysts. Their chemistry on ice generated persistent public speculation about the nature of his partnership.
