Tamsin Greenway was born on 6 October 1982 in Leicester, England, and moved to Bath at 16 to join the netball program built by former Silver Ferns captain Lyn Gunson, later studying at the University of Bath. She made her Team Bath debut in 2003 and won the AENA Super Cup the following year, going on to be part of the squad that won the inaugural Netball Superleague title in 2005–06. Greenway won 67 caps for England between 2004 and 2015, taking bronze medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2011 and 2015 Netball World Cups. Domestically she played in eight Superleague grand finals across three clubs — Team Bath, Surrey Storm and Wasps — winning seven titles in total as a player, player-coach or director of netball, including leading Surrey Storm as captain and player/coach for the majority of her decade there. After retiring from playing in 2015, she moved into coaching and broadcasting, becoming a regular netball analyst for Sky Sports before being appointed head coach of the Scotland national team in 2020, a role she held until 2023. She returned to club netball in 2025 as director of netball at London Mavericks.
