French rally driver and eight-time World Rally Championship winner, widely regarded as one of the greatest WRC drivers in the sport's history.

Sébastien Eugène Emile Ogier was born on 17 December 1983 in Gap, France, and developed a passion for motorsport through his father, a fan of Ayrton Senna, and his uncle, an autocross driver. He began karting before winning the French Federation's talent-spotting Rallye Jeunes competition in 2005, earning a seat in the Peugeot 206 Cup. Ogier won the 2008 Junior World Rally Championship with Citroën, and joined the manufacturer's senior team before moving to Volkswagen Motorsport in 2013, where he won four consecutive World Rally Championship titles between 2013 and 2016. Ogier moved to M-Sport Ford in 2017, extending his title streak to six consecutive championships, before further titles with Citroën in 2019 and Toyota Gazoo Racing in 2020 and 2021, often edging out teammate Elfyn Evans in dramatic season-ending battles at Rally Monza. Ogier reduced his schedule from 2022 to focus on selected rallies and endurance racing, but continued adding to his legacy, claiming a ninth World Rally Championship title in 2025 after a tense final-round battle with Evans at Rally Saudi Arabia, equalling the all-time record held by fellow Frenchman Sébastien Loeb and cementing his status as one of the greatest rally drivers in history.
