Nine consecutive WRC titles — the most dominant individual championship run in motorsport history.
Sébastien Loeb was born in Hagondange, France in 1974. He won nine consecutive World Rally Championship titles from 2004 to 2012 — the most in any single-driver motorsport series. He won 80 WRC rally victories — the all-time record. He dominated the sport so completely that manufacturers began withdrawing from the series during his peak. He transitioned to circuit racing, competing in the World Touring Car Championship, Pikes Peak and the Dakar Rally after his WRC retirement. He returned to the WRC in 2022-23 with Hyundai. He is the most successful rally driver in history by any measure.
