Khalil Mack was born on 26 February 1991 in Fort Pierce, Florida, and played college football at the University at Buffalo, setting an NCAA record for career forced fumbles and tying for the most tackles for loss in Division I history. The Oakland Raiders selected Mack fifth overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, and he became, in 2015, the first player in NFL history to be named first-team All-Pro at two different positions in the same season, defensive end and outside linebacker. The Chicago Bears acquired Mack via trade in 2018, signing him to a six-year, $141 million contract that made him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history at the time, and he continued to be one of the league's most feared edge rushers, winning multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro honours.
