Born in Saint Rose, Louisiana, in 1999, he played at LSU on the 2019 national championship team before Minnesota drafted him 22nd overall in 2020. He broke Randy Moss's 27-year-old Vikings franchise receiving record in 2021 — his second season. He set the NFL record for most receiving yards in a player's first two seasons. In 2022 he won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year with 128 receptions for 1,809 yards — the second-most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history.
