A physically imposing, fundamentally sound and technically skilled center with an impressive post game and elite rebounding ability, Valančiūnas has been a reliable NBA starter for over a decade. He was selected fifth overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2011 NBA Draft and spent eight seasons in Toronto, contributing to their development as a franchise before being traded to Memphis Grizzlies in 2019.
