Dawid Kubacki is a Polish ski jumper and 2019 World Champion, a key member of Poland's dominant modern ski jumping generation alongside Kamil Stoch.
A Four Hills Tournament victory in 2019-20, a World Championship large hill gold at Oberstdorf 2021, and consistent podium appearances across three Olympic Games establish Dawid Kubacki as the most complete and consistent ski jumper to emerge from Poland's golden generation alongside Kamil Stoch and Piotr Żyła. He has competed on the World Cup circuit since 2008 and became a mainstay of Poland's ski jumping team through the 2010s, part of a golden generation alongside Kamil Stoch and Piotr Żyła. Kubacki won his first major team title at the 2017 World Championships in Lahti, and reached individual Olympic podium contention across three Games — Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018, and Beijing 2022 — winning bronze medals in the team large hill event in 2018 and the individual normal hill event in 2022. His signature achievement came at the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld, where he won the individual normal hill gold medal. Kubacki capped a strong 2019-20 season by winning the overall Four Hills Tournament, one of ski jumping's most prestigious annual titles, and went on to add a large hill individual gold at the 2023 European Games in Kraków. He has also won multiple bronze medals at the Ski Flying World Championships as part of Poland's team, and remains an active competitor on the World Cup circuit into his mid-thirties.
