A Canadian LPGA Tour star who turned pro at 17 and became the winningest Canadian golfer in history across major tours.

Brooke Mackenzie Henderson was born on 10 September 1997 in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada, and began playing golf at three years old, watching her father, Dave, and older sister, Brittany, play the sport before joining them at the local Rideau Lakes Golf and Country Club. Henderson made history at just 14, becoming the youngest golfer ever to win a professional tournament on the CN Canadian Women's Tour, and a year later became the youngest-ever winner of the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship, before turning professional in December 2014 at 17. Henderson won her first LPGA Tour title in just her second professional start, at the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic, becoming just the third player in LPGA history to win before turning 18, and captured her first major championship at the 2016 Women's PGA Championship, becoming the second-youngest major winner in LPGA history at 18. Henderson holds the record for most career victories by a Canadian professional golfer, male or female, and has won the Canadian Press female athlete of the year award three times, with her sister Brittany serving as her caddie throughout much of her record-setting LPGA career.
