Beatriz Haddad Maia is a Brazilian professional tennis player who became the first Brazilian woman to reach the top 10 in the Open Era, with a Grand Slam semifinal appearance at the 2023 French Open.

Beatriz "Bia" Haddad Maia was born on 30 May 1996 in São Paulo, Brazil, to Ayrton Elias Maia Filho and Lais Scaff Haddad, and comes from a tennis family of Lebanese descent. She began playing tennis at five, and turned professional in 2014. Haddad Maia's early career was significantly disrupted by chronic back problems, requiring surgery at São Paulo's Hospital Albert Einstein in 2018 that sidelined her for approximately three months. She rebuilt her ranking through the ITF Women's circuit, winning multiple lower-tier titles before returning to the WTA Tour in earnest. Haddad Maia reached a career-high ranking of world No. 10 in June 2023, becoming the first Brazilian woman to enter the top 10 in singles during the Open Era, a breakthrough season that included reaching the semi-finals of the French Open and the fourth round of Wimbledon. She also became the first Brazilian woman to reach a US Open quarter-final since 1968, doing so in 2024. Haddad Maia has also enjoyed success in doubles, reaching a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 10 and a Grand Slam doubles final at the 2022 Australian Open, and remains one of the most accomplished Brazilian tennis players in the sport's history.
