Canadian ice hockey forward who won two Olympic gold medals and four World Championships, considered one of Canada's greatest women's players.
Vicki Sunohara won Olympic gold with Canada in 2002 and 2006 and four IIHF World Championship titles during a long international career as one of the program's most reliable forwards. Inducted into the Hockey Canada Hall of Fame, she later moved into coaching, becoming an assistant coach with the University of Toronto and remaining closely involved in developing the next generation of Canadian women's hockey talent.
