British Formula 1 driver who became the youngest British driver to score points on debut, finishing 7th at 2024 Saudi Arabian GP aged 18.

Oliver James Bearman was born on 8 May 2005 in Chelmsford, Essex, England, and began competitive kart racing at seven, winning several national and continental titles before progressing to single-seater racing in 2020, immediately winning both the Italian F4 and ADAC F4 championships in his debut season with Van Amersfoort Racing. Bearman progressed through Formula 3 and Formula 2 as a member of Ferrari's junior driver academy, and made a sensational, unplanned Formula One debut at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, called up at extremely short notice to replace an unwell Carlos Sainz at Ferrari, scoring points in only his first Grand Prix start. Bearman signed with the Haas F1 Team for the 2025 season, becoming one of the youngest full-time drivers on the grid, and continued to build his reputation as one of the most promising young talents to emerge from Ferrari's driver development programme. Bearman has remained with Haas into 2026, continuing to develop as a full-time Formula One driver after his remarkable emergency debut announced him to a global audience as one of the sport's brightest rising stars.
