Nicknamed "Cool Hand," Luke Humphries won the 2024 PDC World Championship, held the world No.1 ranking for nearly two years, and has won eight PDC major titles.

Born in Bridlington, East Yorkshire on 31 January 2001, Humphries began playing darts at a young age and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent. He progressed through youth competitions before joining the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) circuit, where he initially struggled to establish himself among the sport's elite players. Humphries spent his early professional years methodically developing his technique and mental approach to the game. His breakthrough arrived in 2023 when he reached the quarter-finals of multiple major tournaments and began consistently producing averages above 100.
