Hunter played the majority of his career with the Detroit Pistons across two separate stints, becoming a key defensive contributor to the franchise's 2004 NBA championship team, renowned for his ability to guard multiple perimeter positions and disrupt opposing ball-handlers. Hunter also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls, winning a second NBA championship with the Lakers in 2002, before retiring in 2010 as one of the most well-travelled and respected defensive specialists of his era.
