Kim Ravaillion (born Kimberley Ravaillion) was born on 26 July 1993 in Sydney and made netball history in January 2013 when, at 19, she became the first player ever to make her senior Australian debut before playing a single national league match, stepping in for injured captain Natalie von Bertouch against England. She went on to play 60 Tests for the Diamonds over more than a decade, mostly at centre and wing defence. Ravaillion was part of the Australian team that won gold at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, defeating New Zealand 58–40 in the final, and followed it with victory at the 2015 Netball World Cup in Sydney, beating New Zealand again in a tighter 58–55 final. She added a Commonwealth Games silver at Gold Coast 2018, narrowly losing to England 52–51. Domestically she won back-to-back ANZ Championship titles with the Queensland Firebirds in 2015 and 2016, was a founding player of the Collingwood Magpies in 2017, and returned to the Firebirds in 2021 after the birth of her daughter, later captaining the club and winning a further Super Netball premiership in 2025.
