Keilani Ricketts

American softball pitcher and outfielder who dominated college softball at Oklahoma, winning three consecutive USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year awards

Keilani Ricketts is a 6-foot-2 softball pitcher from San Jose, California, who starred collegiately at the University of Oklahoma, developing into one of the most dominant pitchers in program history alongside her sister, Samantha, who was also an All-American at Oklahoma and later became head softball coach at Mississippi State. Ricketts went on to play professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch league before being acquired in the sixth round of the inaugural 2025 draft for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League, continuing her playing career at the professional level. Ricketts married her husband, Sean, in 2017, and the couple have a daughter named Elizabeth. Alongside her playing career, she has moved into coaching, completing her second season as an assistant softball coach at the University of the Pacific in 2026. Ricketts remains one of the most respected pitchers to emerge from Oklahoma's storied softball programme, continuing to contribute to the sport both on the field as a professional player and off it as a developing collegiate coach.
