Born in Mol, Belgium, on July 2, 1998, Jasper Philipsen emerged from the cycling-rich Flemish region that has produced generations of world-class riders. He began his professional career with Hagens Berman Axeon in 2017 before moving to UAE Team Emirates in 2019, where he would develop into one of cycling's most formidable sprinters under the guidance of experienced lead-out trains.
