Harbhajan Singh was born on 3 July 1980 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He made his Test debut in 1998 and became one of the most successful off-spinners in history. He took 417 Test wickets in 103 Tests and 269 ODI wickets. He was the first Indian spinner to take a Test hat-trick, doing so against Australia in Kolkata in 2001 during the famous Eden Gardens match. Known as 'The Turbanator' for his distinctive Sikh turban, he was a fierce competitor. He won the 2011 World Cup and the 2007 World T20. He retired in 2021.
