Fran Cotton was England's barrel-chested loosehead prop of the 1970s, one of the most respected players of his generation. A Lions tourist on three consecutive tours, Cotton's exceptional scrummaging, carrying ability, and leadership made him one of the most admired forwards of his era. He later co-founded Cotton Traders and played a crucial role in bringing the Lions series together as a commercial entity.
