A three-time ANZ Premiership winner with the Mystics who finally earned her Silver Ferns test debut in September 2025 after being overlooked since 2022.

Filda Vui built her netball career gradually, spending three years in New Zealand's second-tier National Netball League with the Northern Marvels and as a Northern Mystics training partner before making her first full ANZ Premiership season in 2021. She was rewarded with selection to the Silver Ferns Development squad that year, and was part of the Mystics' title-winning campaigns, becoming a three-time ANZ Premiership winner. Vui was named in the Silver Ferns squad for the 2022 Quad Series tour of England but did not take the court, and spent the following years on the periphery of the national side, often playing a supporting feeding role to strike partner Grace Nweke at the Mystics. Her opportunity came in 2025 when Nweke departed for Australia and Mystics shooter Donnell Wallam suffered injury: Vui stepped into a dominant role, finishing the season with the highest volume of two-point shots of any shooter in the ANZ Premiership, converting 28 from 44 attempts with calm composure. After a long wait since her Silver Ferns squad selection in 2022, Vui finally made her international debut in the 2025/26 Taini Jamison Trophy series, having worked extensively on her court craft, conditioning and decision-making under pressure in the intervening years. She continues with the Northern Mystics ahead of the 2026 season, regarded as one of New Zealand domestic netball's most improved and composed shooters.
