Dragan Džajić was named the best player of the 1968 European Championship, where Yugoslavia finished runners-up, and is widely regarded as the greatest Yugoslav footballer in history. A left winger of extraordinary pace and skill, he won eight Yugoslav league titles and six domestic cups with Red Star Belgrade, scoring 23 goals in 85 caps for Yugoslavia, and later served as the club's sporting director.
