Bogdan Bogdanović was born on 18 August 1992 in Belgrade, Serbia, and began playing organised basketball with ŠKK Zvezdara before moving through Belgrade's youth club system, eventually signing with storied club Partizan in 2010. Bogdanović moved to Turkey's Fenerbahçe in 2014, the same year the Phoenix Suns selected him 27th overall in the NBA Draft, though his draft rights were later traded to the Sacramento Kings. He developed into one of the finest shooting guards in EuroLeague basketball before finally moving to the NBA in 2017. Nicknamed the "Serbian Sniper," Bogdanović became known for his clutch shooting and versatile offensive game, helping the Sacramento Kings before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks in 2020, where he continued to develop as a reliable scoring option. Bogdanović has won silver medals with Serbia's national team at both the Olympics and FIBA World Cup, and joined the Los Angeles Clippers in 2025, continuing his career as one of the most respected international players to transition successfully from European basketball to the NBA.
