Four-time MVP and Super Bowl champion — the most accurate deep passer in NFL history.
Aaron Charles Rodgers was born in Chico, California in 1983. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, before Green Bay Packers selected him 24th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft, where he sat behind Brett Favre for three seasons. His career has produced four NFL MVP awards (2011, 2014, 2020, 2021) — tied with Peyton Manning for the most in NFL history. He won Super Bowl XLV against the Pittsburgh Steelers following the 2010 season, winning the Super Bowl MVP with 304 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. His career passer rating of 104.5 is the highest in NFL history. He holds the NFL record for the lowest interception percentage in a season (0.2% in 2018). He was named AP Player of the Year four times. He set the Packers franchise record for passing yards and touchdowns. He was traded to the New York Jets in 2023 but suffered a torn Achilles tendon in his first series of the regular season, returning for the 2024 season. His deep ball accuracy, the ability to extend plays outside the pocket and command of the line of scrimmage made him the most technically gifted quarterback of his generation alongside Tom Brady. He was selected to 10 Pro Bowls. His relationships, television appearances and opinions on vaccines and nutrition have made him one of sport's most covered personalities beyond the game.
